Today’s quandary was brought on by my realization that a 3.5 ounce dark chocolate bar contains about 65% of our daily allowance of fat. That’s insane for such a small mass of food.
Why in the heck is (good) chocolate so heavy with fat?
The answer: Cocoa butter. Chocolate may be good for you, but it has its downsides (like high acidity and super high fat). Chocolate is one of the best things on this earth, but like with anything… moderation is key.
